Little and large

Yet another mix of weather - dull, some sunshine, dry, some wind, just another average April day. There was a Craft Fair on at the Rockfield Centre today, so we combined it with our usual walk down to buy fish at the pier. The craft fair was quite a small one, with lots of interesting stuff from baking to photography,  but with the usual problem - if I bought that, what would I do with it!

On the way back up Jacob's Ladder I spoke to a couple struggling up in front of us and asked what they thought of all the rubbish - did they in fact notice it? Yes indeed they did, but had no idea what could be done; their home town of Leven in Fife was just as bad. Very sad, but at least they noticed it even if they were forced to ignore it.

At that moment a kid on a bike came flying down the steps and luckily a couple of tourists ahead of us managed to step aside just in time. Not a good idea as he would not have been able to stop if somebody had come round the corner as he was descending!

My Blip today is of the tiniest narcissus I have ever seen - Narcissus 'Canaliculatus'. This is apparently an 'heirloom' narcissus and was introduced in 1915. To give some idea of size I poked an average sized narcissus in behind!
