In-situ

As pretty as the wood anemones in my garden are , they are even prettier in the woods themselves.

It has been another lovely day here and having worked in the garden (it's becoming a habit) and pottered in the kitchen, I decided a walk through the Black Spout Woods was in order before my Gaelic class.

Amongst other things I made was nettle soup, with nettles from the garden - its flavour is surprisingly delicate. You do of course have to wear gloves when picking.
