Nostalgia Food

Baguette and Almond Croissants fresh from the camp shop this morning then off on our 6 hour jaunt from Paris to Delft in the Netherlands. Uneventful but a little tiring so decided not to cook on arrival but went to the new campsite’s snack restaurant and indulged in a highly nostalgic helping of Frikandel and Frites with fritesaus and pindasaus (peanut sauce) and a cold Dutch draught pils - memories of my time here as a 6th former - food can be so evocative of times past!
This followed by watching the Liverpool game while both LV and I enjoyed the 4 - 0 defeat of arch rivals Man Utd. It is rather fun being a Liverpool supporter these days
