Minninglow

I joined a walk organised by my friend Rachel, one of a series visiting the Ethels and intended to raise money for the Peak District National Park Foundation. We met near Parwich and walked up to Minninglow hill, a Neolithic burial site surrounded by beech trees. A special place.

On the way back we called at Royston Grange, somewhere I had a trip out to with University thirty years ago. It's been a site of human habitation since Neolithic times.

Extra: another of the beeches
