With the sun shining from a clear sky and warmth in the air it seemed a good day to take a short walk across the beach at Smitingen and then on to Klubbsjön. The extra is taken at the end of the beach, where the sand turns to rocks.
Partly we chose this walk because it's a trip both we and Lis enjoy, and partly it was to try out our new piece of equipment. (Or should that be our new toy?)
Inspired by one of Greengirl's pictures we bought this to make ourselves a hot drink when we are out in the forest.  We are impressed by how well it works. It mostly burns without smoke, but I chose this picture because you can see it working.
