Another Allium

A morning out with friends this morning which naturally started with coffee and toasted teacakes.  Fortification is needed before tackling the expensive dress shops of Olney, not that we bought anything.

I did purchase a couple of cards, plus five thrillers from the Oxfam shop, which are very good value and which I can return when read.

I am two ninths of the way through The Mirror and the Light.

A bit of gardening this afternoon and we had a few spots of rain, but not enough to join up and do the garden any good.
