If you go down to the woods today ...

you may be lucky enough to find a small owl among the forget-me-knots.

I was attending a photography experience day at the Hawk Conservancy near Andover. Our small group of photographers had the services of a dedicated handler and assistant who showed us various birds throughout the day, and set up static and flying shots.  The birds mostly "played ball", and I ended up with over 1000 shots. This shot, along with the extras, is my favourite from a quick first pass.  It is going to take some time to go through all the images properly!
