The Beast From Below

I was going to use one of Hosta shots I took this morning, but when The Cygnet called round (after being collected at the end of his school camp) we went to see how the tadpoles were doing. We found two of these larvae casings floating on the surface of the water .... so there are obviously damselflies in there.

We are looking after the monsters this evening while their parents are out (independently) - but not an over nighter
