AT THE MATCH

Early kick off today - 12.30pm.  Newcastle were playing Liverpool  - one of the best teams in the Premiership.  Before kick off a giant flag was unfurled across the supporters in the Leazes end.  Amazing sight.  My photo doesn't do it justice. ( The supporters in the stand above the flag are the Liverpool fans.)

Liverpool scored on the 19th minute.  And that was it - no more goals. So the 3 points went to Liverpool. Disappointing result for the Toon but at least they didn't let in loads of goals and they tried their best.

After the match I popped into Waitrose and Tesco before getting the bus home. 

The weather for most of the day was very warm and very sunny.  But this evening its been raining. Hopefully it will clear over night and Sunday will be fine.

Neil, Rachael and Luna went to Durham today - on the train. Luna was well behaved and enjoyed herself. The third troublesome tooth came out yesterday so no need to return to the vets and she is back to her usual lively and cheerful self.
