Meanwhile in the oakwood....

.... things are blooming. The oaks are in bud as you can see from the yellowness of the top branches. Wood anemone (not pictured) are going mad, and there is a little tree (pictured) producing blossom. I'm guessing it might have been planted deliberately by the nearby school. I also saw  purply flowers. (Fairy foxglove? Pictured.)
