Violinist

Stratford Motoring Festival this weekend so several town centre streets were closed to through traffic for the exhibitors to show off their pride and joys. First time it's taken place of course since the dreaded Covid.

Very well attended this year as you would probably expect and as people were making a day of it the crowds were all along Waterside and across the Bancroft Gardens to the riverside. Just as many people on the far bank of the river in the Recreation Ground and we noticed that this large open air car park was full with stewards on traffic duties.

We parked up at the Rosebird Centre and walked into Stratford along the tramway to avoid the traffic. We met up with Jaynes's sister and brother-in-law to walk around the festival before decamping to Huffkins for drinks and cakes. Afterwards ice creams all round as we sat and people watched opposite the theatre.

I'm afraid to say that although I like certain models of old cars that by and large I'm much more interested in those attending and the buskers in and around town. The violinist in the photo seemed particularly gifted and attracted a lot of listeners and also what looked to be a lot of donations too.

The extra blip is a special one for Ingleman as we all know he is particularly fond of his 'kitty'. A few of them were out today.
