Grey Heron

Both the young one and the crow were waiting at the entrance this morning. I gave the crow a couple of bits of fish and it took off. I gave the rest to the young one. When she was finished she took off right away in the direction of the nest area. The crow came back as I was heading up the hill and got a dog biscuit.
This afternoon I took the chopped up raw sardines, which the young one seems to prefer. the crow appeared about the same time as the young one so I gave it a tail and it flew off with it. The young one ate the rest the flew back to the nest area. 
I will probably only be able to make the morning visit tomorrow so will take sardines.
