Poppy Buds

Back down to earth after yesterday’s lunar shenanigans….   

When I opened the back door this morning I noticed that a few poppies have sprung up in the garden, including this one on the doorstep!! When it finally stopped raining I popped out to grab a shot…using a piece of black card behind the buds. I think it really shows up the ‘hairiness’ nicely.
