Improvements

Builder's day. I had ordered the new front door and rain hood back in October, because a) the old door didn't have much insulation and felt really cold in winter, and b) I was fed up with standing in the rain when digging the key out of my handbag.

It took a while for them to arrive, but the builders were on time and did their job, without any missing parts or having to leave in the middle of the day - definitely an improvement after last time. 

New wall lamp next, I suppose. And the entire house needs a paint job...
