Daffodils Still Flowering

A breezy day, with a sunny morning, clouded over in the afternoon, even a threat of mist, then some sunny spells this evening.  Still a tad cold.

A morning puttering about the greenhouse, and then headed off to work in the airport.  I was working with oil and gas flights this morning, on the check-in desk in the afternoon, then meeting and boarding flights this evening.  One delay due to an emergency with an Eastern aircraft, and Aberdeen was delayed again, due to lack of staff in their airport.   Walkies with Sammy, and now feet up by the fire.

I gave myself a little extra time to travel to work this morning, and took a slight detour.  The detour proved to be a cheery one, with these daffodils enjoying the sunshine.  Being 60⁰ north, we still have daffodils in bloom, although the early flowering varieties are now starting to wilt, but still a cheery yellow splash from a distance.  Taken near Northpunds, north Levenwick.
