Triple Knitting

Once a month I play Mahjong with a group of ladies. Some are experienced players, others like me learning. We often have to have a quick refresh of the rules. It’s an ancient Chinese game, where you build sets of tiles; there are three “suits” ; bamboo, circles and characters. You can collect groups of the same number and set, or try for a fancy hand. The risk is higher, but the score if you succeed much higher.
This month I won, one of my hands being this, going mahjong ( out) with Triple Knitting; 4 triples ( of each suit) and a pair. 500 points there and then!
I love this set, with the lacquered rests.
