Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Island Life (#5)

Back on track. Thanks for the nice comments on my quirky diversion.   Now: Harbor seals in our bay.    They look rather rolly poly don’t they…but it's not quite time for pups yet.

A fine day.  Calm.   No rain yet.  So we loaded the boat with stuff for our car, picked up our neighbor (whose boat was in our marina slip where his ex wife left it some days ago…he travels by helicopter..She takes the ferry like the rest of us) stopped and filled the gas tanks (wow that would be a big jolt for a big motor boat, but I guess those who can afford the luxury yachts don’t care about the price of gas) , had a nice chat with the marina owner who is hoping to sell the marina (it’s a very nice one… 1.8 million.  There are many farther up the coast that are closing) , loaded the car, had a chat with other island neighbors just arriving (the ones that missed the celebration on sat due to covid) had a walk to the mailbox, bought a few things at the marina store (like ice cream) and by now the little restaurant was open for lunch so we bought a lovely take out lunch.  Took the blip from the boat.

Extra..the marina from where I was waiting for the take out lunch. Our slip is out of the photo to the left.
Sunset out the window
