Minster

Staying at Elaine’s for the weekend.
We walked across Soldiers Field and caught the bus into Leeds.
Then went to the bus station for the Zap Bus, we had remembered the service is now hourly instead of every thirty minutes ( after Covid).
Had my weekly phone call from my brother as we sped up the M1.
In York we went to the new blue pottery shop and l bought a little milk bottle vase, l am sure it will be blipped in the future as l’ve decided to start collecting the whole range.
Had lunch upstairs at Little Italy, most enjoyable and l bought some semolina flour and Italian nibbles to take to Tim’s next week.
We then ambled back to the bus passing the Minster which looked splendid, l am looking for new silver earrings and Elaine wants some shoes to wear at a wedding, got some ideas but didn’t find exactly what we wanted.
Called in at the Corn Exchange ( see extra) on the way home, it was really buzzing inside and a DJ was making the most of 5he decks and sound system.
I didn’t want to leave but we refrained from have a drink and caught our final bus of the day and now back at Elaine’s for a chilled evening, currently listening to some fabulous birdsong.
