Kick Off

Today we made the trip to Elland Road Leeds to enjoy an afternoon of Rugby League . Wigan Played St Helens in the 1st men's semi final of the Challenge cup. This shot is the kick off which started very well and Wigan went in at Half time 14 -0 up. the 2nd half it went down hill and was trailing 18 - 14 before We scored a try with a couple of minutes to go and then converted it to give us an amazing 20 - 18 victory and book a place in the final in 3 weeks time . Before this there was the women's final  another good match which saw Leeds throw away a lead and getting beat by St Helens 18 - 8 . After both matches we then watched the 2nd semi final which was a bit of a 1 sided match where Huddersfield beat Hull KR 25 - 4 . A very enjoyable day all round I have included a couple of extras a ground shot and also a shot of of the world cup trophies that was on display as that is been held over here after a 2 year delay later in the year.
Back home now and a few beers to celebrate and chill.
