Noss Mayo

The pretty, water-side village of Noss Mayo in south-west Devon occupies a sheltered position on the Yealm estuary. Buying a house here can be prohibitively expensive and on on days like this the narrow roads struggle to cope with the number of vehicles. This is the view from the Ship Inn where we enjoyed a family lunch today, sitting outside by the water. Although this looks like a postcard, that was how it looked today. Simple pleasures, close to home, but also a thought for all those who are struggling financially and emotionally  in these difficult times
