Mount Vernon Place United Methodist Church

I followed Jill as she drove her students to Baltimore for the final performance of "Considering Matthew Shepard." It was performed in an old church. Not this one. I saw this when I was getting coffee after taking photos of their rehearsal.

This Norman-Gothic-style church was completed in 1872. The tallest steeple is 203 feet (62 meters) tall. It's impressive. But even more impressive was a church farther away with a nearly 300-foot (90-meter) steeple. I didn't get to get close to it because we were rushed to get back during the lunch break.

I do want to visit this part of the city again. There's a monument park nearby that also looks good for photos, and there are plenty of places to eat.
