Pom pom

A very pleasant morning weatherwise and lots of possibilities  for the TT challenge of something floral from around you. The garden has become a riot of colour and I'm still adhering to No Mow May but June is going to be hell!  Small patches may have to have a quick trim. This pom pom is one of many that was driving the bees mad - it's a sort of buddleia and the aroma is heady. This takes me back to my primary school which had a colossal tree of this variety in the gardens and when we had to leave, aged 11, we all wept buckets underneath it! 
The sunshine gave way to rain but it's much needed.
