Sunlit uplands

Whilst I lost track of what day of the week it was today, it was a good one. Massively busy, with an early start to finish my prep, then the central promotions committee (all got through…yay!) before dashing back for more REF data wrangling, feedback and comms tweaking.
Back to Old College again for our regular team meeting which had some blinkered bids from one of the ‘boys of the sixth form’ to overturn earlier decisions. Sigh….think it’s all about resistance to the asteroid’s imminent arrival.
Final bits of comms planning….some will be up till very late tonight to check final versions of formulae again before the news goes out. I’ll be avoiding the awful Twitter parade tomorrow as I can’t face how everyone contorts themselves to claim a top five or top ten place one way or the other!
The sun came out this afternoon after a rain shower and once again I met A&N at 56 North for a beer, hearing about another house they’ve been to see and liked.
Just slumped after supper….tired out!
