Very, very wet

Today was our last day in the Peak District, tomorrow we will be back home.  Our short trip has largely been blessed with good weather, which has made the walking very pleasant indeed.  But we woke this morning to pouring rain.  I had intended to make more of the opportunities offered by this view from the top of the Monsal Valley, but the very wet conditions rather mitigated against that.  As it was, this shot is taken in quite heavy rain, although I did manage to keep the front element of the lens dry.

I've no doubt there will be other opportunities in the future.
