I blipped this beauty down by the canal this afternoon on my way out to St Cross.  At this time of year I find them irrestible.  Also searched for were butterflies and damselflies, but they're still pretty thin on the ground.  I'm beginning to wonder if all the dry weather is holding back both the wildflowers and the insects, but I guess it will clear itself.
