Not watching the cricket!

A very warm sunny day so we went to Bushy Park this afternoon for a brief dog walk and parked near the Teddington Cricket Club Pitch as the Pheasantry car park was full. There were three games being played and lots of spectators sunbathing by the smart new club house as they watched. 

Our grandson was very interested in seeing the deer as they don’t have any where they live. About a dozen red deer were conveniently very near the path,  most were lying in the shade but not this one who was busy munching grass. We were so close it was easy to see the velvety covering on the antlers.
