Trapped

A few weeks ago the vandals blackbirds came and uprooted this plant, flung it onto the concrete, and chucked a  lot of the soil out of the pot too. When the plant had been repotted, I put some protective chicken wire over it. But it's not really a good look! When the plant's a little bigger I shall find the wire cutters and very carefully remove the wire from this, and several other pots in the 'yard.

Spent a while cleaning the easel this afternoon though, unsurprisingly, most of the muck  is ingrained!

In the evening a piano concert by Steven Osborne, playing pieces by Debussy. A brilliant concert by an amazing musician! Very enjoyable. But it was held in the local church, where the pews were evidently designed to torture the congregation, and the discomfort was beginning to detract from the enjoyment by the end of the concert...
