anemone

Today I went into work to help Steve sort out the gear from our Duke of Edinburgh training. Thankfully it had dried out overnight so it was just checking waterproof pockets for missing compasses and clearing out snack detritus then doing the same with the tents before packing them all away till next week when the silver group go out.

I biked home in the sunshine and stopped to take a few blips then, once home, brought down the bins, filled the bird feeders, read the meters, put several washes in, took the lovely neighbours their pudding for tonight's tea (Tony is bringing home all sorts of goodies from his cookery course - these were choux buns filled with creme patisserie and homemade chocolate and toffee sauces!) and whilst my tea is cooking, decided to take out the macro tube convertor wotsit for the first time this year into the garden as, at long last, colours are emerging. This is a pretty anemone on the rockery!
