...because it didn't happen unless you post at least one bad photo. I do want to remember the eclipse, even though I didn't make it much past this stage before I fell asleep. It was hard to find the moon, it seemed lower than usual, and the fog was coming in. My son, who was parked down by the ocean and could see the lights over Monterey Bay, called and told me where to look. The partially visible moon was behind the trees! I could see the glow and needed to move way to the right, and bam! there it was. Too many yard lights, but still, there it was, soft as a breath hanging over the horizon. 
And then I went to bed. It was, after all, pushing 930.
