Grey Seals

S & H took me to Mortehoe on the north coast of Devon, for a lovely walk on the coastal path.

The weather didn’t always cooperate, it was quite windy with some rain showers, but we weren’t deterred. And got rewarded by a group of grey seals on the rocks, lots of seabirds (who didn’t stop to pose for a blip) and pretty clumps of flowering sea thrift.

On the trip back we went via Exmoor national park and heard a cuckoo.

All in all, a wonderful last day for my long weekend in Devon.
