A Day In The Life

Feeling Blue

I’ll only bore you with two fun bluejay facts today :) • Bluejays are large birds and may give the impression they’re fast in flight. In actuality they’re slower than many of their winged friends at 20-25 mph. Compare this to a duck at 60 mph, a robin 25-30 mph, or 25-35 mph for a cardinal • Females and Males pretty much look alike, but their behavior gives clues as to which one is which. The female is most typically the first to arrive, and to leave, with males following her lead. It’s how it should be, I think :) • Another blustery day here, on the cool side. I covered our broccoli plants last night and will need to do so again tonight • Off to purchase more bags of dirt (far better than saying dirt bags, LoL) and whatever else happens to appear in our cart • Peace & Love
