Pony in the Bluebells

At last the bluebells at Emsworthy Mire and Holwell Lawn on Dartmoor are out! Every time I've been over the last few years I've said, 'this is the best I've seen them' and it really is this year. Perfect! I wandered around exploring the viewpoints and the sun was a bit bright on the west side but in the shade at the back a small herd of ponies had gathered and one was in the field, seemingly eating the grass and the bluebells. I don't think they're poisonous to horses but I'm not sure they do them much good.

It's been lovely with sunshine most of the day after a bit of early rain.
