Common Spotted

I had planned to spend this morning looking for the critically endangered Man Orchid but several hours of heavy rain put paid to that idea. However, on a late afternoon walk with the spaniel I came across a group of Common Spotted orchids. All the flowers in this group were white, rather than the usual pale pink, and completely lacked the usual spots and stripes on the lobes (Dactylorhiza fuschii var. alba).
