Today was a bit of a flop - five hours searching for the Man Orchid all to no avail. I saw plenty of Twayblades, Early Purple, Common Spotted and a few Greater Butterfly orchids but I still can't find the Man Orchid at its only known site in the county. I've seen almost all the orchids in Sussex but the Man continues to elude me so here instead is an aquilegia in the evening sun from the back garden.
