The Monty

A full day of walking. In the morning we trekked along part of the Offa's Dyke trail near Montgomery and then through the town and up to the castle remains. In the afternoon it was another long walk along the towpath of the Montgomeryshire Canal, crossing the aqueduct over the river Rhiw and on towards Welshpool before returning to Aberriw over the fields. I was impressed with the spaniel who managed to walk for just under seven hours.
