Morning mint

It was a bright and cheery morning, and this sight greeted me on the balcony when I popped out to see what was what first thing this morning. I hope we will soon be enjoying fresh mint tea.

After an early morning peloton, I headed in for a bunch of face to face meetings and activities, including an excellent lecture in the evening (see extra). That's Harold Koh, who has served numerous US presidents (including doing a role in the Biden administration until October last year when he arrived for a sabbatical in Oxford) and who has also been part of the team representing Ukraine in the ICJ in the recent case. Fascinating and insightful lecture, followed by an excellent dinner in the Raeburn Room with all manner of interesting people. Truly the sort of thing that the Law School does *really* well.
