Having a good scratch - aww!

The weather was lovely so we headed over Exmoor to Lynmouth in Devon. It was surprisingly quiet when we arrived but by the time we left it was heaving as normal. Got the funicular up to Lynton (see extra for the view from the top) and had a coffee and a wander around but it was starting to get busy so we didn't hang about too long. The funicular was crammed on the way back down and I was the only person wearing a mask and yet noticed everyone in the queue religiously using the hand sanitiser before they got on. There's nothing that stops a highly infectious, airborne virus quite so much as hand sanitiser!

Went on to the Valley of the Rocks afterwards, it's such a beautiful place and there were loads of wild goats with their kids (main photo). Had some lunch at Mother Meldrum's (see extra). I think she's a character in Lorna Doone but was based on a real person who lived here. I'll have to find out more about her!
