Cleveland

Met up with friends this morning who had driven through from another part of Yorkshire. We drove over to Robin Hood’s Bay and joined the Cleveland Way heading north to Whitby, around 11km / 6 1/2 miles away.

The weather was much better than forecast and the breeze was offshore and mainly at our backs. Having started out about 10.45am we arrived at Whitby just before 2pm. Time for coffee and cake, a taxi back to my B&B and then a drive back to the start to pick up the other car. A grand day out!
