Baby Coot

I sat and watched this mum and her two babes pottering along the pond edge when all of a sudden the mother popped into the water and l didn't see her again. The little ones were running about looking for her and ran into some weeds, l was a bit concerned one of the herons would see them and have a meal. Hope they survived.
