Jezebel

We visited friends in East Ballina for morning coffee. This butterfly dropped in and stayed long enough for me to photograph. I think it's the Jezebel Nymph, Mynes geoffroyi. The Atlas of Living Australia webpage shows that, here in the Northern Rivers of NSW, we are at the southernmost point of its range. It is mainly a Queensland coast and rainforest species.

Its a little different from the Black Jezebel, which I blipped in April last year, and in September.
