A ‘Chelsea’ corgi

This morning I caught  a very early train to Clapham and met some friends so that we could cycle round Chelsea before it got busy. We went up the Kings Road, Duke of York Square Sloane Street and Sloane Square before returning via Battersea Power Station. As in previous years many of the shops, hotels etc have put up displays made of flowers, some fresh flowers some artificial or dried. The theme this year was bizarrely ‘Mad Hatters Tea Party’ but many had ignored this and put up Jubilee related displays.

This ‘ corgi’ in Sloane Street was huge. There were also corgis in the display outside Jo Malone, also in Sloane Street. See extra. Another interesting one was of Vivienne Westwood in the Kings Road, near her shop. See extra. The Ivy also had a nice display outside.
All were tricky to photograph as even at 8.30am lots of others were taking photos plus selfies etc.

Back home I picked several pounds of strawberries and then watched a bit of the French Open tennis as feeling tired after an early start.
