Rest period

You need a bit of a rest at the Hay Festival.  I went to two talks today, one called "Disinform, Distort, Deceive" (Prof Martin Innes, Cardiff Uni), about online deception, the other about the Russian Civil War 1917-1921 (Anthony Beevor).  Very interesting, but heavy stuff; I would have bought Beevor's book, but for the queue for the signing.

In the interludes I wandered looking for interesting subjects.  The Extra shows a bit more lying about.

I'm not being very quick with comments etc . . . I'm on a mobile connection and it's very slow, despite being 4G.  I reckon that everyone at the Hay Festival is also using the 4G network and overloading it.
