Fire hazard

My last day of work for two whole weeks. If I didn’t have a holiday booked already, I’d need one after today!
The trainee (yep, her again. Hanging by the worlds thinnest thread) rang in sick, which left me to man reception on my own.

Lunch didn’t happen for any of us, we had to eat on the hoof, so when things finally quietened off around 4.50pm, the gang appeared with this lovely surprise and a rendition of the birthday song.

I was pleased to see they only had 5 candles (rather than 50) or I’d have lost my eyebrows the fire alarm might have been activated!

I’m taking all my birthday cards on holiday so I can open them on the day, so this one has been added to the pile :-)
