Aqua Dragons

Aqua Dragons! Well, that's what the firm selling the eggs calls them. They're otherwise known as brine shrimps, or Artemia, and come with their own nutritious solution. They live on algae.

The shrimps have grown a lot since we were down here in February and it looks like they'll be laying eggs.

In the wild these creatures live in salt lakes rather than the sea. They have evolved to withstand high saline concentrations that their predators couldn't.

The grandchildren have them in a small tank decorated with dragons.
