Platinum Jubilee Flypast

Ollie dog and I went to Stapleford Flight Centre to see the Platinum Jubilee Flypast. MrQ decided not to come as he wanted to look for the home movie of London scenes that he made on the day of the Queen's Coronation in 1953.

I was a bit disappointed as when we came here for the RAF 100 flypast all the helicopters joined from this airfield. This morning all was quiet. I'd arrived early to beat the crowds but only a handful of avid plane spotters had turned up so the wait for the planes was a bit tedious. It was wonderful to see the aircraft but they were well in the distance.
