The Platinum Jubilee

The long weekend to celebrate the Queen's Platinum Jubilee has begun and Mr MC, accompanied  by The Son and daughter #1's partner  began it by going to Lords.  I spent the morning enjoying a coffee and a chat with my friend H at Butler's Retreat and then home via a supermarket to prepare dinner in the slow cooker ready for my afternoon and evening  guests, our friends G and L.  while waiting for them I quickly blew up these festive balloons ready to be displayed outside.  I have of course played with the image to give it an abstract feel.  Many thanks to our regular Abstract Thursday host, Ingeborg.
