Getting Ready for da Classic Car Show

A stunning day, sunshine all day and night, lovely and warm too.

Day off and up early.  Spent some time in the garden first thing, and then headed up to the peat hill.  I've been along big Brian and Madeline all afternoon, and Elise has been too.  A barbecue for tea, then headed down for my shift in the shop.  A really busy night with the fine evening.  Might try a pint to relax.

The big weekend has finally arrived, as the Classic Car Show returns after four years.  Me and Elise have been over helping wash and polish both Brian's cars.  His Jaguar is sparkling, and hopefully be the highlight of the show, and then there's his MG TD.  The MG must be Scalloway's most famous car.  It was owned by Jim (o Berry) Smith, and was used around the village, mostly known for driving the gala queens around.  Brian has put a lot of love back into the car, and she's looking great.  Madeline supervising Brian's washing, Berry Road, Scalloway.
