A view of Ely

Another day, another walk.
We went to Wandlebury Country Park in the Gog Magog hills. Hills?!

From the Ely viewpoint, we looked for Ely Cathedral – Ely’s most noticeable and distinctive landmark.

Can you see it?

See the white thing in the middle left of the photo? Move along to the right till you get to the red roof, then go straight up all the way to the horizon. See the two faint towers? That’s Ely cathedral, the ship of the fens.
