Houston..

……………………….we may have a problem!!!

A 6am start which did mean I got to see the Wilson Dover passing by the end of the street on its way to Tweedmouth docks as it took advantage of the high tide. (See extra)

He’s been a little cherub for most of the day…I took him into Berwick this morning to see an art exhibition, he slept all the way there and most of the time in the exhibition. We carried on to see todays offering at the Parade for the Jubilee and continued along the walls to the rose garden which was planted for the Diamond Jubilee. The weather was just nice so we stopped for a picnic before continuing to the play park.

I did get a phone call this afternoon from an organiser of the art exhibition to say I’d won the raffle…I now own a framed mountain goat watercolour.

We followed the walls back to the old bridge taking in a Jubilee exhibition at the Guards House before stopping off to see Pops before the walk back to Spittal. This afternoon we’ve watered the garden, been along the prom and visited the bowling club to see Granny and Granddad. Aunty L was here when we got home again…but she’s not nearly as much fun as Uncle G! As L isn’t staying the night I decided to keep JoJo another night…I may regret the decision but he went to bed without much bother.

The child has peed for Britain today, so much so the weight of this nappy exceeded the load bearing of its fasteners! I’ve come to realise if his little builders bum is on display his nappy is due a change.

Thanks to KangaZu for hosting this months Silly Saturday in memory of admirer.
