Classic Car Rally

It’s been 3 years since the classic car rally was lined up on Tay Street in Perth. What a day for it! We started with a mid morning coffee and croissant in Cafe Tabu same as last week. Same issues with the coffee arriving later than the croissants but we were chilled in the sun and when it did arrive it was via the table further up from us. Luckily I noticed and shouted over to her. The lady in the table next to me just accepted a black americano even although she ordered a latte as she felt sorry for the waitress which meant that the guy behind her that wanted the americano did not get his till the latte arrived from a different waitress and saw the americano. Gawd! :)

This Jaguar was the classiest car in the big line up of classic cars. It’s worth half a million and the owner was very keen to talk about its history which was fascinating. He’s had it 20 years and has driven to 37 different countries in it. I looked him up and he’s part of the Cameron Motors car group so he’s in a good place to keep it in top shape.

We walked home in the gorgeous sun and then later down to my daughter’s house as she was having a party for Cameron finishing his exams, but Cameron was not there as he was hiking for the D of E. oh dear we need another one.

We caught some of the concert which what I saw was mixed. Rod Stewart was awful, Diana Ross was Miming and looked like a frilly doll toilet roll holder. Not sure who the black singer was before her but very strong powerful voice.

I was exhausted going to bed!
